At the 2012 Beijing Auto Show Honda introduced two new concept vehicles. Most automakers use the Beijing Auto Show as an opportunity to unveil models for emerging markets. However, Honda did not conform to this and used this event to show off two vehicles that will be released to entirely different markets.
Let's start by exploring the Honda Concept C. It's a unique and sporty sedan with a chic style. When first looking at this model you may even think it's an Aston Martin, if it didn't don the Honda logo. So what's the catch? Well, Honda confirmed that this model will only be sold within China.
Honda also unveiled the Concept S at the Beijing Auto Show. This model is a 5-door hatchback hybrid, which was developed to fit more passengers and offer more storage room. It looks like a slightly bigger version of the Insight. It, however, unlike the Concept C, is destined for a global release, which could include joining the new Honda lineup at Piedmont Honda, serving Anderson, SC.
Honda didn't reveal any performance or efficiency specs in regards to either model at the show. However, the Big H did give some insight into when we can expect to them released. Their timeframe? Either 2014 or 2015.
