What do you look for in a new car? That's a question that ALG recently asked more than 4,000 participants in their 2012 "Perceived Quality Study." They were also asked to rank various automakers on a scale from 0 to 100, in an attempt to find out which one offered the most of what they were looking for.

As expected Big H came out on top with a commanding lead. Specifically, Honda outscored the average competing automaker by 22.2 points in the ALG 2012 "Perceived Quality Study." Their final score? 81.3 points on average.

Of course, we here at Piedmont Honda, serving the greater Anderson SC area, are thinking you're probably more interested in know why they won and not by how much. Some of the big reasons why Honda ranked in so highly with consumers is due to a number of factors, and they range from aesthetic to frugal in nature.

-          Feisty, get-up-and-go, yet smooth ride quality
