Cars.com has selected two new Honda models available to drivers in the greater Anderson, SC area to appear in its "American-Made Index" this year. They're the 2012 Honda Accord, which took home the number three spot, and the 2012 Honda Pilot, which earned the number five spot.
Rather than simply focusing on whether or not a brand is American, Cars.com dissects specific models in compiling its "American-Made Index." Factors that are considered in ranking each vehicle include where it's produced, its volume of domestically-sourced parts, and, of course, sales.
