We're big fans of the Honda Ridgeline, as we can appreciate any vehicle that dares to be different. The unique model offers our Anderson, SC area drivers the perfect balance between car and truck. Pairing the driving dynamics of a sedan with the valuable spaciousness and cargo bed of a truck, the Ridgeline has become an icon among the new Honda lineup and among the auto world, in general.

However, if you're a fan of the Ridgeline too, you may want to head to our dealership sooner than later as sources are predicting a hiatus from production in the pickup's near future. While Honda has not officially confirmed the Ridgeline's vacation from its lineup, the credible experts at Ward's Auto have their suspicions.

The 2013 Ridgeline has many drivers swooning with its engaging ride, premium handling, upscale cabin, and of course, the many perks associated with a pickup like cargo room and towing capabilities. While there is much to love about the compact truck, one can't help but notice that the Honda has not featured many upgrades with its past few model years. With its stunted development, a hiatus could work in the Ridgeline's best interest.

Ward's Auto said that though the Ridgeline may cease production in September 2014, it would return two model years later for 2016. The temporary break would allow Honda more time to make the pickup extra special for its revival, with a complete overhaul possibly in the works.

When it comes to the Ridgeline and what the future holds, only time will tell and when it does, you can depend on our blog to have the details. Lastly, don't forget the 2013 Ridgeline is still very much alive and well, so be sure to visit Piedmont Honda to catch the pickup before its break.
