Are you an iPhone user? Are you well acquainted with Apple's onboard secretary Siri? If so, you'll love to hear that Honda has recently decided to fully integrate Siri into several of its new 2013 Honda vehicles.
Our favorite Japanese automaker recently announced plans to fuse its onboard speaker and microphone systems with Siri in order to help keep Honda drivers safer on the road. Honda's new integration will allow for drivers to command Siri without even touching or looking at the screen, enabling drivers to remain completely focused on the road.
"iPhone has become so integral to people's lives that they continue to use them in their vehicles," says the Assistant Vice President of Automobile Product Planning at American Honda, Viki Poponi. Offering Honda and Acura owners Siri and its "Eyes Free" mode via Bluetooth is an incredible opportunity to provide next-generation connectivity and meet our customer's ever-changing needs."
