Sometimes you need a second opinion on a major purchase like buying a new Honda. Look no further than the trusty auto experts at Consumer Reports. Each year they test hundreds of vehicles and convey the cream of the crop via their 'Top Picks.' Piedmont Honda was pleased to see three models we offer drivers from Greenville, Easley, and Greer have made the cut for 2013!

The Consumer Reports 'Top Picks' list is based on a car's reliability, fuel economy, value, and design. Out of the nine major categories-- Mid-size Sedan, Sports Car, Budget Car, Compact Car, Luxury Car, Mid-Size SUV, Minivan, Small SUV, and Sports Sedan-- Honda ranked supreme in three.

The Honda Accord took the lead as the Mid-Size Sedan 'Top Pick.' With 30 miles per gallon combined (27 mpg city and 36 mpg highway),* Consumer Reports recognized the Accord for its fuel economy. Additionally, this top-selling Honda model won the critics over with its advanced safety offerings, primarily its handy rearview camera.

When it came to minivans, the Honda Odyssey brought back the gold. Like the Accord, the Odyssey offers a standard rearview camera but drove it home with an outstanding engine and its overall comfort-- an important factor when it comes to shuttling the whole family around!

The Small SUV champ was our very own Honda CR-V. Commended for its smooth ride, precise handling, and spacious interior, this model is a prime example of a crossover SUV.

You may be wondering at what cost do all of these great features come at? We'd like to add that Consumer Reports also acknowledged these models for their value. Our loan and lease options can help clear up questions you may have about a Honda fitting into your budget.
