For quite some time now, competing brands have been vying for Honda's slice of the compact pie. Naturally, our preferred brand wasn't about to let that happen, so the gloves have come off. At the New York Auto Show, we got a triple threat of good news regarding the upcoming tenth-gen Civic.
The first piece of news was that Honda showed off the Civic prototype in coupe-form, showcasing an eye-catching design that is sure to wow drivers. This includes sporty design, lower stance, and a stand out front end. But that's not all. The new Civic will also come not only in hatchback guise in 2016, but also hot-hatchback guise. That's right folks, the Type R is coming to America at last!
