Honda Unwraps Clarity Hydrogen Car in Tokyo

After several years of testing, it's finally here. The long-awaited Honda Clarity, the brand's first-ever production hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle, debuted at the Tokyo Motor Show this past week, signifying the Japanese brand's entry into the burgeoning segment. Today, we're going to discuss what we know about this exciting model.

Technically, Honda has been leasing an H2-powered model since 2008. Called the FCX Clarity, its goal was to break hydrogen-powered cars into the mainstream. In that, it's succeeded, leading to the stylish car you see now. It will go on sale in California in 2016, where most of the hydrogen charging stations are located, and have a 300 mile range.

We'll keep you updated on all news regarding this stylish and efficient new Honda model as we get it. In the meantime, we have plenty of models available at our Anderson, SC dealership to help you lower your carbon footprint. Stop by at your convenience.
